Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have any kittens available for adoption?
Because we are a small cattery that is dedicated to the wellbeing, health, and happiness of our cats, we only have a few litters of kittens per year. We are not a kitten mill and I am more concerned with the quality of the kittens we have available, NOT the quantity. We take breeding very seriously and our breeding queens deserve a minimum of 5-6 months between litters.

Do you offer breeding rights?
No. At this time we do not offer breeding rights.

What is the adoption fee for your kittens?
Oftentimes I get calls or texts from people that are looking for a "pet kitten, I don't need papers and would like the cheapest cat you have". Unfortunately we may not be the cattery for you if you are looking for a "cheap" kitten. Our cats are purebred, health tested cats with champion lines. We have devoted countless hours researching breeders, colors, genetics, and want to be able to provide you with a loved, spoiled, family raised, healthy pet. Our cats and kittens are raised inside our home with us, they are never in a garage, cage, shed, or just put outside in a pen. As with everything in life, you get what you pay for. Someone claiming to sell a purebred Maine Coon for less than $1000 is a huge red flag that the person is either breeding mixed breed cats or is trying to operate a scam.
Our prices vary per litter, typically our kittens are $2500-$3000. This price includes all age appropriate vaccinations done by our vet, microchipping, deworming, and TICA papers once we receive proof of spay/neuter. Your kitten will go home with their vet records, and a care package.  You MUST spay/neuter your kitten before they are 1 year old.

What is included in the adoption fee?
Your kitten will receive all age appropriate vaccines, will be dewormed twice, will be microchipped, and will be examined by our vet. We also send each of our kittens home with a care package, bag of food, toys, vaccination records, and 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance.

How do I adopt a kitten from you?
You must submit an adoption application to reserve a kitten from us. Due to the number of applications we receive, we will not respond to applications as they are submitted. When our kittens become available around 6-8 weeks old, they will be posted on Facebook and on our website under the "kittens" tab. We will then contact applicants in the order of applications received. At that time you will be required to fill out our contract and submit a $300 deposit through PayPal to reserve your kitten.
We take our time to read through each application and choose which families can best provide for our kittens. Due to the fact that we often have several applicants but only a few kittens available, filling out an application does not guarantee a kitten.

Can I visit your cattery?
Unfortunately, we do not allow visitors other than the pick-up day for your kitten. NO EXCEPTIONS. Cats are not like dogs who enjoy being social with strangers, cats get stressed easily especially pregnant and nursing mothers. Added stress from strangers can have an impact on their health and put the litter at risk too. More foot traffic also increases the risk of someone bringing in diseases that can greatly effect our cats and kittens.  We would be happy to send videos or pictures of your kitten in our home where they are raised if requested.

Do you ship your kittens?
Unfortunately at this time we do not ship our kittens. Our kittens must be picked up from our home.

When can I pick up my kitten?
Your kitten can go home at 12-13 weeks old.

Are your Maine Coons purebred?
Yes they are purebred Maine Coons and are registered through TICA and CFA.

What do you feed your Maine Coons?
We feed our cats Life's Abundance dry food, Blue Wilderness canned food, and cooked chicken.
